To provide a platform for awareness, trading and interaction among various stakeholders, who are involved in medicinal plant sector, like primary gatherers, Van Suraksha Samiti (VSS) members, traditional healers, traders, NGOs, SHGs, Ayurvedic pharmacies and exporters, regional Kalinga Herbal Fair, 2014, will be held here from January 23 to 27.
The event will be jointly organised by DFO, Rourkela and State Medicinal Plants Board. According to Rourkela DFO Dr Sanjit Kumar, there will be 50 odd stalls and about 100 participants from various parts of the State will participate in the fair. There will also be a free health check up camp.
