Senior police inspector Rajesh Chhatria working in the Rourkela Police District Headquarters was found dead in his Government quarter at Sector-3 in a suspicious condition on Monday.
local police seized the body and kept it in IGH morgue waiting for his family members who were expected to reach by evening. The autopsy will be held on Tuesday. The police also lodged a UD case.
According to Rourkela DSP, who is also the investigating officer of the case, while a constable of Sector-3 Police Station went to Chhatria house around 1.15 pm, he found him lying unconscious. Immediately with the help of other police personnel, he was rushed to IGH where doctor declared him dead.
