The Veera Surendra Sai Nagar Unnayan Parisad held its annual general meeting led by its president Hrudayram Brahma at the UGME School premises here on Monday.Parisad members spoke on various local issues pertaining to road, hospital, police post, sewerage line and drinking water.
They demanded road connection from VSS Nagar to laxmi Vihar and construction of a flyover bridge at the railway level-crossing near the Haat. The Parisad decided to appraise the concerned authorities on the issues.
Besides, the Parisad felicitated the new local corporator Rashmita Mohanty and the elected executive members of the Parisad on the occasion. Among others, Parisad vice-president Dr Narayan Chandra Pati, general secretary Parshuram Dash, treasurer Abhimanyu Palei, Er Siba Prasad Mishra and Dillip Dashsharma were present at the meet.
