To avoid rush in regular trains, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to augment additional AC coaches permanently in the Rourkela and Haridwar-bound trains from its jurisdiction with effect from September 19.
Accordingly, the Bhubaneswar-Rourkela-Bhubaneswar Rajyarani Express would be augmented with one additional AC-3 tier coach from Puri from September 19 and from Rourkela with effect from September 20.
Similarly, the Puri-Haridwar-Puri Kalinga Utkal Express would be augmented with one additional AC-3 tier coach from Puri from September 20 and from Haridwar with effect from September 23.
Additional coaches would also be added temporarily to different important trains towards different destinations of the country from its jurisdiction according to the feasibility and demands from the passengers, said the release.
