With a view to eradicating illiteracy and certain dysfunctional teaching techniques, the Rotary India literacy Mission has started its march towards ‘total literacy’ in the country.
In this context, the Rotary Club of Rourkela Steel City (RCRSC) under the leadership its chairman Dr Sanchita Choudhury is organizing literacy camps at various schools in the steel city to fructify various literacy goals. Recently, it organized a literacy camp at the Koelnagar UP School from October 20 to 28 in different phases. All the students and teachers of the school attended the programme.
A cultural programme was also held on the valedictory day. The literacy team looks forward to meet the students periodically to keep a tract on their development and growth.
