The officials have confirmed that the manpower has been mobilised by the construction company and the work will continue at the site uninterruptedly.

Union Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on July 21 had laid foundation stone of the much awaited second Brahamani bridge which is stated to be a six lane bridge.

Gadkari had claimed  that the bridge construction will start in another 15 days. But, eyebrows were raised recently, when construction work had not started even after three months of foundation stone laying.

Amidst confusion about starting of work, a four- member team of GKC Project Pvt ltd, Hyderabad reached Rourkela on Monday and  started the construction work from Tuesday at Balughat site of the city.
