The Radhakrishna Institute of Technology and Engineering (RITE) here has been designated as nodal centre for virtual labs by IIT Kharagpur under the National Mission on Education through ICT.
A workshop on virtual labs was conducted recently by Prof Alok Kanti Deb and his team of IIT Kharagpur. The advanced IT Lab at RITE has now got elevated to new heights after being declared as a nodal centre. The declaration is going to benefit not just the students of Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical branches of the college but also, many other students of the State, studying in various institutions.
Virtual lab enables students to carry out laboratory experiments without physically visiting lab premises.
On this occasion, the Director of RITE, Group Captain KN Venkates and Principal Dr Sasanka Sekhar Kanungo felicitated Prof Deb and his team of virtual lab professionals.
