After the arrival of Jyotir and Dwarika Peeths Shankaracharya, Swaroopanand Saraswati in Haridwar, changes are being made in various committees of the religious fraternity.
In a meeting presided over by him, the national spokesperson of working committee of Akhil Bharatiya Sadhu Samaj (ABSS), Mahant Rishishwaranand alias Sanjay Mahant has been ousted from the committee.
Meanwhile, the president of Jairam Ashram and Congress leader, Brahmswaroop Brahmchari has been made national vice president and Swami Vivekanand Saraswati the national spokesperson of ABSS.
This was announced by national secretary Swami Keshawanand Maharaj on Friday.It was alleged by Brahmswaroop Brahmchari that Rishishwaranand had fraudulently made assets worth crores of rupees at Swargashram in Rishikesh.
He also alleged that no transparency was kept in his dealings with shops and not a single paisa was received from those shops by the ABSS.
