Athagarh Prahari, a weekly newspaper released from here, held a condolence meet on Sunday at Govindjew temple for former Athagarh MlA and former Chief Minister Janaki Ballav Pattnaik on his death on April 21 last.
Over 100 of JB’s well wishers and supporters congregated, offered floral tributes and narrated their own experience with the all-time genius. Scribe Dinesh Das described JB as an institution and a stalwart in every segment of life. His love for Odia language, culture and literature was immense, he said. litterateur Narayan Panda said JB’s contribution to literature and journalism will be remembered for all time to come.
