Members of the Rayagada Zila Sambadika Sangha on Monday urged Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to take appropriate steps to book culprits responsible for giving Rs 200 as gift to mediapersons at a Parliamentary Committee Meeting held in Puri recently.
“The act has not only denigrated the sanctity of the fourth pillar of the Constitution but also tarnished the image of Odisha. The culprits should be booked soon,” a memorandum submitted to Patnaik through the district Collector demanded. The memorandum applauded the steps taken by the media fraternity of Puri and members of the Sachetan Nagarika Manch for upholding Media prestige.
