On the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets by Raj Bahadur Choudhury, senior clerk in office of Block Education Officer, Bissamcuttack, Rayagada, the Vigilance sleuths of Koraput Division conducted searches at his office and homes.
The places searched include his triple storied building at Balaramnagar, Niladribihar lane-I, Gunupur, another triple storied building at Deonagar, Gunupur, parental house at Chalkamba, cement shop at Balaramnagar, office chamber at Bissamcuttack and office chamber of his brother at BN High School, Padampur. The total immovable and movable assets of Choudhury were calculated to be of Rs1, 18, 31,600.
