Member of Board of Revenue GV Sarma on Wednesday visited Jagatsinghpur and held a review meeting with the district administration.
He had discussions with revenue officials and staffs from tehsils and suggested that the cases relating to mutation, correction of land map, distribution of land pattas to tenants should be made through a special drive.
Protection of Government lands from the encroachers, E-registration, and disposal of pending OlR cases should be the priority of the district revenue officials, Sarma said. District Collector Yamini Sarangi pleaded for fulfilment of the districts demands such as construction a Record Room, filling up of vacanct Tehsildar posts in Jagatsinghpur, Raghunathpur and Kujanga and an additional Sub-Collector post for Jagatsinghpur.
The ADM, the Sub-Collector, all Tehsildars of the district and other senior officials participated in the meeting.
