The Supreme Court's direction to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to conduct the All-India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) afresh in four weeks has evoked mixed response from students and guardians of Odisha.
Around 30,000 students from the State had appeared for the test held on May 3 (Sunday) across the country. "I welcome the verdict of the apex court. Transparency has not been maintained during the examination. If the court gives a green signal to the CBSE to publish results, careers of many meritorious students could be spoiled," said a girl who had appeared for the test.
On the other hand, many students observed that those who were expecting a good rank in the May AIPMT test may not get the same chance in a re-test.
