The State Government on Tuesday effected a major reshuffle in the senior IAS and OAS cadres. A notification to this effect has been issued by the General Admini stration Department.
According to the notification, 1998-batch IAS SK Vashishth has been appointed as Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC), Central Division while 2000-batch IAS AB Ota has been named as the new Director of the School and Mass Education Department.
1996-batch IAS and Tourism and Culture Secretary Arabinda Kumar Padhee has been given the additional charge of Managind Director, Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC).2000-batch IAS officers Ram Narayan Das and Ashok K Tarenia have been named as Director of Estates and Director of Tour ism, Respectively.
2003-batch IAS officers Dhiren Kumar Patnaik and MR Patnaik have been postes as Registrar of the Cooperative Societies MARKFED Managing Dire ctor, respectively.1991-batch IAS and Commerce and Transport Secretary Sanjay Rastogi has been given additional charge of CMD, Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) while Cooperative Societies Registrar Biswanath Mallick has been appointed as Additional Secretary of the Housing and Urban Development Department.
In the OAS cadre, Gobinda Chandra Biswal has been named as Baleswar district Collector and Ranjit Kumar Mohanty as Director, Information and Public Relations (I&PR).Pradipta Mohapatra has been named as Additional Secretary, Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) and Prasanta Kumar Senapati as Excise Commissioner. Niranjan Nayak has been posted as Managing Director of the Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation (OSCSC).
