Aggrieved employees of the warehouse established at Kendpalli in Bargarh district staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate here on Tuesday protesting against the closure of the warehouse, which comes under the administrative control of the Odisha Warehousing Corporation.
The warehouse at Kendpali has been closed since June last year rendering the employees jobless. Unable to run their families during the Covid pandemic, they had sent several representations to the concerned authorities but in vain.The workers demanded that the warehouse be made operational and that they be provided with work immediately.
