The remaining papers of annual Plus II Examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) have been cancelled due to fast spreading of Covid-19.
The decision was taken after the Central Government announced Unlock-2 by imposing restrictions on reopening of educational institutions across the country in view of the growing coronavirus cases.
Earlier, the Odisha CHSE had postponed +2 examinations 2020 in the streams of Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational course with effect from March 23 till further orders due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
Clearing the doubts of parents and examinees, School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash had informed that examinations in all the streams would be conducted after the lockdown period is over.
However, the CHSE authorities have now decided to suspend examinations of the remaining papers.
