Demanding immediate release of arrested Deogarh
BJP MLA Subash Panigrahi and withdrawal of all cases against him, a
BJP delegation on Tuesday met Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal and
submitted a memorandum to him.
The delegation led by Opposition Chief Whip Mohana Majhi also
demanded action against the Tileibani BDO based on the FIR filed by
Panigrahi.
Majhi said Government officers are openly violating Book Circular-47,
for which MLAs are offended by people.
Describing Panigrahi’s arrest illegal and undemocratic, the delegation
alleged that the ruling party deliberately got him arrested to defame the
BJP and police didn’t take any action
