To begin special audit into the alleged irregularities in funds utilisation in the Brahmapur University, the State Government transferred Registrar and In-charge Comptroller of Finance Sailendra Diwedi, a day before the audit began on Wednesday.
According to information, a team began audit in the university under the guidance of Nirmal Chandra Swain (AS) and Sukumar Satapathy (Auditor). The special audit is being conducted on the recommendation of the State local Audit Fund Director. Earlier, a primary audit had been conducted into the allegations of misutilsation of funds.
