Reeti Tripathy, a student of 8th semester in the 5-year integrated BA llB (Hons) course at the University law College, Utkal University here, received the ‘Overall Excellence Award’, besides ‘Academic topper for the session 2015-16’, ‘lord Jagannath Moot Court Memorial Award as Best Mooter’ for her outstanding performance and consistent achievements in all areas of academic activities at the annual fest ‘lexcellence 2K17’ here last Saturday.
Governor Dr SC Jamir handed over the awards to Tripathy at the function presided over by the Vice Chancellor of Utkal University Dr Ashok Das. Former Advocate General Jayant Das and Bar Council of Odisha Chairman Manas Ranjan Mohapatra were also present.
Tripathy was earlier awarded with “Vishwanath Pasayat Centenary Moot Court Memorial Award 2014 and 2016” for her performance in Moot Court Competitions along with various others awards.
