The Indian Red Cross State unit on Monday reached out to the people, whose houses and other valuable properties were devastated in a fire at Mangala Basti in Unit-IV here on Friday.
Red Cross volunteers distributed relief materials including men’s and women’s cloths, kitchen sets and utensils, buckets, bed-sheets, etc to the victims. When the news of the fire had broken out on Friday, State Red Cross members, volunteers and workers had provided immediate assistance to all the 101 victim families.
