Members of the Indian Red Cross- Odisha State Branch under the leadership of its secretary Dr Kalpana Dash are providing various services to people at the historic Baliyatra being held in Cuttack now.
To maintain a healthy atmosphere, the members have undertaken a Swachhata drive and are providing health services like first-aid treatment, stretcher facilities, free blood grouping. Besides, they are providing drinking water to visitors.
The mass public services are being rendered at one main mass public service stall and two sub stalls, ORMAS and police aid centre.
Among others, Red Cross advisor Chandan Kumar Mohanty, counsellor Laxman Swain, life members Sushanta Kumar Sahoo, Deepak Kumar Choudhury, Arun Das and Sanjay Kumar Patra were present.
