The Indian Red Cross Society Odisha State Branch in collaboration with SAHAY , Cuttack observed the International Women’s Day here with the theme "Gender Equality today for a sustainable tomorrow."
To mark the day, under the guidance of honorary secretary Indian Red Cross Society Odisha State Branch CTM Suguna, an exhibition programme taking the product of many women entrepreneurs was organised.
The main objective of the programme is to empower women for sustainable development through entrepreneurship. Many women entrepreneurs like SAHAY, Women Council for Socio Economic Welfare, Sony's Art, Utpanna, Deeva Store, Chaknas, Caramel Relish, Shivam Soap and Oil, Noori, Aesthete Paints, Sruti Creations, Zain Foundation, Priyanka Creations, Prisa's Collection, Quirksvillebyanmita, Mye.dot farm, Twinkles Boutique , Vriddhi displayed their handmade products for market linkage to popularise their products and enhance their marketability.
Hundreds of customers came and purchased their products and enjoyed food at different stalls.
