Taking cognisance of the violence in seven polling booths during the second phase of elections in the State on April 17, State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Mona Sharma on Sunday proposed to the Election Commission of India (ECI) to conduct re-polling in these booths. Official sources said that the CEO has proposed to the ECI to hold re-polling in six booths at Niali in Cuttack district and one booth at Telkoi block in Keonjhar district on April 25.
