Villagers of Anantapur and Bramhapur under Athagarh block in Cuttack district on Monday demanded the State Election Commission (SEC) for re-polling at various booths alleging booth capture by goons of local BJD MlA Ranendra Pratap Swain on Sunday.
The villagers alleged that supporters of the local MlA forced voters out of the booth nos. 1, 2 and 4 at Anantapur village and booth nos. 7 and 8 in Berhampur village under Dhurusia panchayat and themselves cast all the votes.
They demanded that the SEC conduct re-polling at these booths.
