A delegation of the Rourkela Chamber of Commerce and Industry led by president Sunil Kayal along with VPs Moloy Mandal and Gurmeet Singh, GS Alok M losalka, Praveen Garg, Bishwanath Dey, Naresh Agarwal and Alok Bagaria met Rourkela Steel Plant Chief Executive Officer Ashwini Kumar, Executive Director (Projects) Shuvendra Das and Executive Director (Works) BP Verma.
They discussed with RSP officials about the issues like promotion and development of ancillary and downstream industries in Rourkela. It was also requested for finding the ways and means for development of trade, commerce and business, relating to vendor development and supplies of different items to the RSP.
It was further discussed how to maintain the price of the steel products for the end users in industry and also in trade. Various other issues relating to service providers like transport, medical facilities etc. were also discussed.
