Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das on Thursday met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the Lok Seva Bhavan here and discussed several issues, including financial inclusion programmes, bank network, digital payments, streamlining agriculture loans and direct transfer benefits.
Das visited Bhubaneswar and called on Patnaik ahead of the RBI Central Board meeting scheduled to be held here on Friday after a gap of seven years. The board’s last meeting here was held in 2012, said Das.
He added that since Odisha is his home State, he paid a courtesy call on the Chief Minister.
