The Ravenshaw Bikash Abhijan on Wednesday strongly condemned the Ravnshaw University Vic-Chancellor’s declaration of closure sine die following protests by students against annual fee hike and a move for privatisation of the university.
The Abhijan said due to the decision of the closure order, the future of the students is at stake and particularly the final years students would be barred from applying form for higher studies in different universities.
The Abhijan demanded rollout of the decision of sine die immediately, holding of the examinations and publication of results as per schedule, revocation of the fee hike decision and an end to the self-financing courses.
The Abhijan brought the demands to the notice of the Chancellor-Governor for his intervention for the sake of future of students.
