The Ravenshaw University authorities here on Saturday suspended a final year BBA student, Subhrajeet Ray, for four semesters on disciplinary grounds.
“The student has been debarred from entering into the hostel and university campus till June 2020,” informed the University Registrar Maheswar Agasti.
This decision followed an adverse report submitted by the University Disciplinary Committee against the student. The committee had been asked to probe and submit a report on the fracas that took place at the lalitgiri Hostel of the university in May this year.
“Subhrajeet was found guilty by the probe committee,” Agasti said.
