Ravenshaw harassment slur turning murkier

Published on:

The mental and sexual harassment slur brought out by three women faculties of the Ravenshaw University here is turning out to be murkier.

A three-member fact-finding team on Monday submitted a report to the Vice Chancellor of the university stating that the complainants did not appear before it to record their statements and hence the enquiry remained inconclusive.

Expressing helplessness, VC Prof PK Sarangi said the enquiry could not progress as the complainants did not cooperate and, as such, they have not made any specific allegation against any specific individual.

On the other hand, speaking to media the complainants sought for impartial enquiry by an independent agency not associated with the university as the university authorities have earlier failed to give them justice.
