The Freethought Party of India (FPI) has condemned the barbaric murder of Puspalata Roul (28), a widow having a female child who had done AMOFOI wedding on December 24 last. She had married her lover Pritiranjan Pati (25), a Diploma holder in Electrical Engineering, by exchange of garlands. The couple could not live well because of Puspalata’s unhappy past. Her past love affairs with driver Sanjay Das became the problem and he wanted to take revenge on her.
Puspalata did not like to ditch her husband Pritiranjan. That was precisely the reason for which she was murdered in the cruelest way on February 3, said a FPI release.
