Young Daitapati servitors at the Shree Jagannath Temple here threatened noncooperation in Rath Yatra to be held on Wednesday demanding suspension of two sons of Jagannath Swain Mohapatra, who have allegedly taken away Karala Chandan of the deities.
The protesting young servitors lodged a complaint at the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) demanding action against Rajib and Sanjib Swain Mohapatra.
Jagannath Swain Mohapatra, the Badagarhi (custodian) of lord Jagannath, was in news by making derogatory remarks against Puri Gajapati Maharaja Dibya Singha Deb and Gobardhan Peeth Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati for banning devotees from touching the deities.
