Now one can have a taste of delicious Rasagola at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) as a special outlet of the sweet has been opened there.
The counter of Bikalananda Kar Rasagola was inaugurated by Additional Chief Secretary Laxmi Narayan Gupta on the auspicious occasion of Kartika Purnima on Friday. The outlet will remain open 24 hours for the air passengers.
Several varieties of Rasagola including Khiramohan, Chocolate Rasagola, Orange Rasagola and Keshar Rasagola and around 15 other desserts like Khajuri Barfi, Khajuri Guda Sandesh, Kaju Barfi, Chumchum, Gulab Jamun and Rajbhog are available at the counter.
Besides, several other varieties of sweets will later be added to the menu list.
The initiative is considered as an attempt to promote Odisha’s Rasagola in international level.
