Forest personnel have rescued three rare baby barn owls from a place near Abhayamukhi village under Balipatna block near Bhubaneswar. “We have sent the baby owls for medical examination. However, we are yet to take a decision whether to release the owls in wild or send them to a zoo,” said a forest official.Initially, some youths from the village heard the hooting of the baby owls. Upon close examination, they spotted the three young owls under the Kushabhadra bridge and informed forest personnel about the baby birds.
