Senior Bhubaneswar lawyer and former State Bar Council vice-president Ramakanta Sahoo has been re-elected as a member of the Bar Council this time. He has been elected to the council for the fourth time in a row since 1997.
During his tenure as the vice-president of the council, he was instrumental in creation of the Advocates’ Welfare Fund meant for the lawyers in distress.
