A mega rally was organised on Wednesday as a part of BIJAYINI Abhiyan to make the district free from child marriage.
The rally started from Jharsuguda bus stand square to the municipality office, which was flagged off by district Collector Saroj Kumar Samal.
The students of various educational institutions, Child Development Project Officer, Supervisor and Anganwadi workers participated in the rally with banners and placards on their hands.
Project Director (Rehabilitation and settlement) Alomani Sethi, CDMO Dr Dolamani Patel , District Social Welfare Officer Mihr-un-nissa Begum, District Labour Officer Sunita Kisan, DCPO Sunanda Maharana,DIPRO Ajay Jena , Additional DEO Pradipta Sa and Mamata District Project Coordinator Tusharkanti Nayak also participated in the rally among others.
