Music CD, Rajdhani Sundari, comprising eight songs sung by reputed singers was released in Sambalpur. One of the surprise singers in the album included Rakesh Mishra, the HR head of Hindalco’s FRP unit, Hirakud. Incidentally he has given his voice for a song written by lyricist Surama Mishra, his mother. This was revealed by Mishra herself when she was addressing the music aficionados on this occasion.
Others who have given their voice in the album include Bibhu Kishore, Kumar Bapi, Rashmiranjan, Shantiraj Khosla, Subhasis and Pami. Music direction is by RR Basant and Shantiraj Khosla is the managing chief. Producer of the album Surama Mishra was emotional in her speech when she said that one of the songs penned by her is sung by his son, Rakesh who in his childhood days made promises to sing some of the songs written by her.
