Obviously fearing an arrest warrant, TV actress Pralipta Priyadarshini Samal aka Jessy, who was wanted in connection with the mysterious death of actor Ranjit Patnaik alias Raja, appeared before the Soro police hours after the cops served a final notice asking her to depose before them by 8 pm on Friday.
The actress, accompanied by her mother and other family members, came to the Police Station much before the deadline.
After deposing herself before the cops, Jessy said what happened to Raja was an accident. “We had very close relationship. We were very good friends. But we never talked about marriage. What is being discussed in public after his death is untrue.”
Meanwhile, the postmortem report of Raja revealed that he died of excess bleeding.
