Most places in Odisha experienced intermittent light rains during the last 24 hours under the influence of a well-marked low pressure formed over the Sri lanka-Tamil Nadu coasts, which is moving northwards. Rains or thundershower would occur at most places over Odisha while one or two places in coastal parts may receive moderate to heavy rainfall during the next 24 hours, the Met office said.
"Rains will continue till tomorrow. The north Odisha coast in particular is likely to get more rains while most other places in the State would get light to moderate rains," the IMD Bhubaneswar Director said.
