The Met office on Monday predicted rains or thundershowers at a few places in the State in the next 24 hours due to a low pressure area over Northeast Jharkhand and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal and Bihar.
Gusty surface wind speed reaching 30 to 35 kmph and gusting to 45 kmph will prevail along and off Odisha Coast, the Met office said. Fishermen have been advised to be cautious while venturing into sea, it added.
Met bulletin said that Sunday’s Well Marked low Pressure Area over Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Jharkhand and Odisha now lies as a low Pressure Area over Northeast Jharkhand and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal and Bihar.
