The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Regional Office here on Saturday forecasted light to moderate rains for several districts in Odisha on February 16 and 17.The IMD said light to moderate rain is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh and Deogarh between 8.30 am on February 16 and 8.30 am on February 17.
The weathermen issued Yellow Warning for 11 districts in the State on February 17.
“From 8.30 am on February 17 till 8.30 am on February 18, thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Rayagada, Gajapati.
