The Meteorological Centre here predicted rain or thundershowers at many places over south Odisha and at a few places over north Odisha in the next 24 to 48 hours.
The cyclonic storm over Bay of Bengal has turned into a low pressure which is currently moving towards west-central direction.
“Many places of north and south Odisha is expected to experience rains in next 24 to 48 hours under its impact,” said Met Centre Director Sarat Sahoo. The condition is likely to continue tillSeptember 16.
