Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani here on Monday demanded that Congress president Rahul Gandhi resign from his post forthwith and tender an apology to the people in the wake of the Supreme Court rejecting the petitions to investigate Rafale jet deal.
“It has been clear the Union Government didn’t commit any wrong; and Rahul Gandhi’s real face of telling lies has come to the fore. Hence, he should resign from his post taking moral responsibility and tender an apology,” demanded Rupani at a Press meet here.
Rupani also demanded that Gandhi inform people the basis of allegation he made relating to the Rafale deal.
“Middlemen had always fixed rates for flights procured during the Congress rule, but the procurement of Rafale jets was done without middlemen during the Modi Government,” he claimed.
