The venue for a public meeting to be addressed by All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Rahul Gandhi during his scheduled visit to the State on January 25 would be Bhubaneswar and Cuttack as had earlier been proposed.
After a preparatory meeting for Gandhi’s visit was held at the Congress Bhawan here on Saturday, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Niranjan Patnaik said Gandhi’s public meeting would be held at Tamando in the State capital.
Patnaik said the party president’s various programmes would be held from 10 am to 5 pm.
The programmes include a meeting with civil society members and intellectuals at the public meeting place.
Around two lakh people would attend Gandhi’s public meeting, Patnaik said.
