BJB Friends, the alumni association of the BJB College, organised a Scholastic Quiz Competition here on Sunday. Five rounds of competition were held among 64 +2 Commerce students selected from of different schools and colleges across the State. Subham Bothra and S Ashis Patra of the Mother’s Public School became the champions of the quiz. Similarly, Bharat Kochar and Sahil Jain of the Ravenshaw Junior College and Stuti Agarawalla and Radhika Jhunjhunwala of the Sai International School became the 1st and 2nd runner-ups, respectively.
DPCl Director Santosh Mohapatra and Indian Overseas Bank Chief Regional Manager Prashant Mohanty joined the event as guests and distributed prizes. While the winner trophy carried a cash prize of Rs 10,000, the 1st and 2nd Runners-up trophies carried cash awards of Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000, respectively. BJB Friends President Jagannath Mohapatra chaired the event.
