Pradesh Youth Congress Committee (PYCC) general secretary Nilamadhab Panda on Monday demanded a CBI probe into the alleged human sacrifice by former BJP MlA candidate of Simulia Assembly constituency Sashibhushan Sahu and said the CBI office would be gheraoed shortly.
Addressing a Press conference here, Panda said Sahu brought a tribal boy from the Thakurmunda area of Keojhar district to sacrifice him with a belief to get a BJP ticket again and win the 2019 election. He managed the local police and got the postmortem report changed from a case of human sacrifice to that of a road accident, Panda alleged.
He further alleged that Sahu was interrogated by the CBI for his involvement in chit fund scam, but the BJP claims its leaders are transparent.
Panda demanded arrest of Sahu and a CBI inquiry to bring out the truth behind the tribal boy’s death. Among others, PYCC president lokanath Moharathy and spokesperson Ajaya Sahu were present.
