Odisha Jan Morcha (OJM) chief and Rajya Sabha member Pyarimohan Mohapatra on Sunday said he would write a book on legendary leader and former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik. Mohapatra, who was the Principal Secretary to Bijubabu during the latter’s chiefministership, told reporters here that his book would focus on the personality of Bijubabu.
‘There will be at least ten books on Bijubabu. But I will try to write two volumes. It will focus on his personality and my experience with him,’ Mohapatra said on the occasion of the death anniversary of Biju Patnaik.
Mohapatra, the estranged political advisor of Bijubabu’s Chief Minister son Naveen Patnaik, said he would try to highlight the real personality and dedicative attitude of Biju Patnaik which has relevance now to serve people selflessly. ‘Bijubahu’s love for the State and its people will be main thrust of my writing. I will try to depict how selfless and eager he was to serve the people and effect overall development in the State,’ he said.
