The Odisha Jan Morcha (OJM) on Thursday launched its Samparkakranti Abhiyan, popularly known as ‘Oust Naveen campaign’ from Puri to sensitise the common people about misrule of the BJD Government.
OJM chief Pyarimohan Mohapatra and general secretary Jagneswar Babu along with scores of party leaders joined the campaign. A mini bus was used for the publicity.
In its leaflets, the OJM held BJD Government led by Naveen Patnaik squarely responsible for steep rise in crimes against women and fast deterioration in law and order in the State. The last 13-year rule of the BJD Government has created anarchy much like the Congress Government in past, the party said.
The party further said the BJD Government has failed to give justice to the farmers as over 100 farmers have committed suicide in the State due to the ongoing agricultural crisis. The OJM called upon the common people to oust the BJD Government and support a Government led by OJM in the forthcoming polls to ensure development of the State.
