The Lions Gate police here arrested and forwarded to court two persons on Wednesday in connection with the violence during the October 3 Puri Bandh against the queue system for devotees to enter the Jagannath Temple.
The accused arrested by the police were identified as Dilip Das of Kalikadevi Sahi and Bikash Sahu of Markendswar Sahi of Puri town.
The Puri Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) sent them to judicial remand.
With this, the number of arrested in connection with the Puri Bandh violence mounted to 94.
