Vigilance police on Friday arrested Pradip Kumar Mohanty alias Bibhuti, a Junior Clerk of the Puri District Sub-Registrar Office, on the charge of taking bribe from a litigant.Ram Narayan Nath of Olhan village had lodged a complaint that Mohanty demanded Rs7,000 to release his papers. But it was settled for Rs3,000. Accordingly, the police laid a trap and nabbed Mohanty red-handed while taking the money from Nath in his office.
