Revenue Minister Surjya Narayan Patro on Wednesday suspended Sub-Registrar of Puri district Smita Mohanty for her alleged complicity in the illegal transfer and registration of land of lord Jagannath and settlement, sale and registration of consolidated holdings in fraudulent manners.
He said the Government would not tolerate any illegal transaction of lands under consolidation of holdings and stern disciplinary actions would be initiated against erring officials.
